But I feel as a result some vegetables get left out of the converstaion. So for the sake of being equal and fair I have decided to pick out some of Octobers bounty that doesnt seem to get as much air time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: small\">For me the ultimate addition to a slow roasted veg mix is Celeriac, whislt it may like an ugly sort of vegetable it certainly packs a punch in the flavour deparment and is certainly worth playing around with. Personally I love Celeriac mash. But if you fancy something a bit more exotic \u2013 why not try <a href=\"http:\/\/deliciouslyella.com\/celeriac-fries\/\" target=\"_blank\">Celeriac Fries<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mydarlinglemonthyme.com\/2013\/06\/celeriac-beet-salad-with-lemon-chilli.html\" target=\"_blank\">Celeriac and Beet Salad.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: small\">Then comes Fennel, not the sort of vegetable to expect to find in an Autumn vegetable line up \u2013 frankly the poor old Fennel is too green- but boy does it add flavour. I love fennel in fish stew \u2013 you can find <a title=\"Simple Suppers: Summertime Stew\" href=\"http:\/\/www.suppersfromscratch.com\/?p=795\" target=\"_blank\">my recipe here.<\/a> But if you are feeling more adventurous what about trying it in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theparsleythief.com\/2011\/06\/edamame-fennel-salad.html\" target=\"_blank\">salad<\/a>?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: small\">Then finally the Artichoke. I have added the Artichoke because personally I have always overlooked it. I have never cooked with Artichoke and hardly ever eaten it. But I think it is time to change. So I have decided my goal for this Autumn is to finally give the good old Artichoke the run out it deserves. Here are a few of the recipes I am tempted to try.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: small\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: small\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/recipes\/1165\/chorizo-and-artichoke-risotto\" target=\"_blank\">Artichoke Risotto<\/a><a href=\"www.theguardian.com\/lifeandstyle\/2012\/jul\/06\/artichoke-salad-cauliflower-pakora-recipe\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0<\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/life-style\/food-and-drink\/recipes\/large-globe-artichokes-with-tarragon-vinaigrette-8607906.html\" target=\"_blank\">Globe Artichoke and Vinaigrette<\/a>.
